Given that

Mass of the car m = 1500 kg

When the car starts from rest, its Initial speed v_i = 0

Acceleration a = 10 m/s^2

Time period t = 5 seconds

First motion equation:

Final velocity v_f = v_i + at

v_f = 0 + (10m/s^2)(5 s)

v_f = 50 m/s

Thus, Final velocity of the car v_f = 50 m/s

Step 2: Calculating the kinetic energy of the car  

KE = \frac{1}{2}mv_f^2

KE = \frac{1}{2} (1500 kg)(50m/s)^2

KE = 750 * 2500

KE = 1875000

Hence, the kinetic energy of the car KE = 1875000 joules
