The method:

Determine the number of days between 1/1/100 and 2/2/200, then divide that number by 4. If the remainder is

0 --> Sunday

1 --> Monday

2 --> Tuesday

3 --> Wednesday

The approach: Step 1: how many days in a year?

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + ... + 9 + 10

This sum = 55

So in 100 years, you have 55 * 100 = 5500 days. So 1/1/200 is 5500 days from 1/1/100.

Step 2: Count up from 1/1/200 to 2/2/200

1/1/200 0

2/1/200 1

2/2/200 2

So it's 5502 days from 1/1/100 to 2/2/200. Now do the division I mentioned at the beginning.
