              So, the total outcomes = 100

  

  •   88 shirts are in good condition,

              So, number of outcomes favourable to Jhony is 88 because he only

              accepts shirts which are good  


  •   8 shits have minor defects and 4 shits have major defects

            So, number of outcomes favourable to Sujatha is 96 (88 good + 8 minor defects) because she reject  the shirts which have major defects

              The probability that it is acceptable to Jhnoy = \frac{88}{100}

                  Therefore, P (shirt is acceptable to Jhony)  = 0.88


              The probability that it is acceptable to Sujatha  = \frac{96}{100}

                      So, P (shirt is acceptable to Sujatha) = 0.96
