Step 1: Recall the right angle triangle properties.

            NOTE;  A right triangle has one angle = 90°.


Step 2: Add the known angles.

            EXAMPLE:  90° + 35° = 125°.


Step 3:  Calculate the unknown angle by the sum of the interior angle theorem.

              NOTE: The sum of all the angles in any triangle is 180°.

                   EXAMPLE: Subtract sum of known angles from 180°.

                                      180° − 125° = 55° 


Answer: The size of the third angle is 55°
