Area of a trapezium is 1/2 * (p1 + p2) * h where p1 and p2 are the lengths of the parallel sides and h is the distance between them.

We know p1 = 15cm; h = 5cm and the area is 50 sq. cm.

\frac{1}{2}\cdot5\cdot\left(15+p2\right)\ =50\ \Rightarrow\ 15+p2\ =\ 20\ \Rightarrow\ p2\ =5cm
