  1. Plug in the points (3,5) in the equation to know if it is a solution. 9 \cdot 3 - 3 \cdot 5 = 27 - 15 = 12. Since the points (3,5) satisfies the given equation, so it is a solution. Another solution can be (5,3). Plugging in (1,-1) we get 9 \cdot 1 - 3 \cdot -1 = 9 + 3 = 12. A few other solutions are (2,2), (0,-4) and (-1,-7).
