Construct a triangle shadow similar to the given ∆ABC, with its sides equal to \frac{5}{3} of the corresponding sides of the triangle ABC.

Step 1: Draw a triangle ABC with AB = 5 cm, BC = 6 cm and AC = 7 cm
Skill 1:Draw a line segment measuring one of the given side lengths
of the triangle.
Skill 2: Set the width of your compass equal to another given side length.
Skill 3: Place the tip of the compass on one of the end points of the side
AB (let's choose to place it on A) and draw an arc on either side of the
line segment AB.
Skill 4: Place the tip of the compass on B and draw another arc which
cuts the previously drawn arc at some point (say C).
Skill 5: Join C to each of the points A and B to complete the triangle.
Step 2: Draw any ray BX making an acute angle with BC on the side opposite to
the vertex A.
Step 3: Locate 5 points B_1, B_2, B_3, B_4 \text{ and } B_5 on BX.
NOTE: such that BB_1=B_1B_2 = B_2B_3 = B_3B_4= B_4B_5
Step 4: Join B_5C and draw a line through B_3 parallel to B_5C to intersect BC at C′
Step 5: Through C′ draw a line parallel to AC intersecting AB at A′
Thus A’BC’ is the required triangle similar to ΔABC.
