I need to find the general solution to y'''-y''+8y'-y=0, however the answer of y=Ae^(x)+Bsin(2sqrt(2x))+Ccos(2sqrt(2x)) that I got and checked with Wolfram is wrong and so I' pretty confused at this point. UPDATE: nevermind, y = Ae^(x) + Bsin{[2sqrt(2)]x} +Ccos{[2sqrt(2)]x} is correct, I guess I was inputting it incorrectly/the software was interpreting it wrong
