Step 1: Draw a circle with radius 3 cm and centre O.

Step 2: Draw a line segment from center by the given measurement (OP = 10 cm)

Step 3: Bisect the line connected between the centre and out side point.

NOTE: Make perpendicular bisector of line segment (OP) which intersects OP at point O’.

Step 4: Construct a circle with radius of bi-sectional length (bisector to centre or bisector to out side point)

Step 5: Identify the inter sectional points of circle with the original circle at surface.

Step 6: Connect the given point outside the circle to the points on the circle with the straight line.
