Area under the curve for y = 5 between x = -sqrt(5) and x = sqrt(5) is given by 10*sqrt(5) Area under the curve for y = x^2 between x = -sqrt(5) and x = sqrt(5) is given by integral_{-sqrt(5)}^{sqrt(5)} x^2 dx = 10/3 * sqrt(5). Therefore, area between the two curves is given by 10*sqrt(5) - 10/3 * sqrt(5) = 20/3 * sqrt(5). The question as you stated has an infinite area.
