math - I was absent today in school and missed class. I do not understand this concept and how to do this problem. Can someone please explain?

These kinds of problems can be solved by using the law of sines.

Law of sines states that.

\frac{\sin A}{BC} = \frac{\sin C}{AB} = \frac{\sin B}{AC}

Therefore, \frac{\sin 55 \degree}{24} = \frac{\sin C}{20} \implies \sin C = 0.682 \implies C = 43 \degree .
