              NOTE:  \sin\left(3x+10\degree\right)=\cos\left(x\ +24\degree\right)

Step 2: Determine the unknown value. (Recall the complimentary angle theorem)

            THEOREM: If sin A = cos B, \angle A \text{ and } \angle B  are the acute angles of

                               a  right triangle, 

                    3x + 10\degree + x + 24 \degree = 90 \degree

                   4x + 34\degree = 90\degree

                    4x = 90\degree - 34\degree  

                   x = \frac{56}{4}

                              x = 14
