Lin was better at estimating than Clare  This is because, Lin's responses were less variable as determined both the MAD and the IQR.

Variability refers to how spread scores are in a distribution out; that is, it refers to the amount of spread of the scores around the mean. When a distribution has lower variability, the values in a dataset are more consistent.

Lin's MAD had a value of 225, which is less than the MAD value of Clare's. So, Lin's MAD value has less variability. Similarly Lin's IQR has a value of 350 grams, which is less than Clare's IQR value of 500 grams. So Lin was better at estimating the mass of the objects.
