Interesting question on cars

During a turn, do the rear wheels necessarily trace out the same arcs as the front wheels?

No, they dont.

Lets extrapolate and ask this question about a limousine or even a bus (i.e. increase the length of the car). As the length of the vehicle increases, the assumption that this claim is correct doesn't make sense.

You can actually check this on a rainy day when the wheels are wet. See the tracks on the garage floor (or any dry surface) and you will see that the front and rear wheels trace different arcs.
