Ms Amy has one part-time employee, Ms. Benton, who works only 20 hours per week. Each full-time employee works 40 hours per week.Write an inequality to determine n, the number of full-time employees Ms Amy must schedule, so that her employees will work at least 380 person-hours per week.

Step 1 : Consider  n to be the number of full time employees.

Step 2:  Multiply the number of hours given to the number of full-time employees to get the total number of hours per week put in by the full time employees.

The total number of hours per week put in by the full time employees = 40n

Step 3: Add the number of hours put in by the part-time employee to this

The total number of hours per week put in by all the employees (including the part-time employee) = 40n + 20

Step 4: Write the inequality

We know that this should be at least 380 hours per week, therefore, 40n + 20 >= 380
