If you are driving a car while it is raining, you will notice that the rain drops go up the windshield instead of coming down due to gravity. Why does this happen? Does the same happen with a bus that has a vertical windshield (not slanted like in a car) ?

air resistance pushes the water drops upward on the inclined windshield and yes this will also happen on a bus at the same speed and the windshield have the same inclination to the horizontal
