Earth is made of a lot of wonders. Seasons are one of the wonders on the earth For every four months, the weather is changing (summer to rainy to winter). What causes the four seasons?

The answer provided by rkraop is not correct and Molly makes a good point. The important thing to note summer in the northern hemisphere coincides with winter in the southern hemisphere. The reason actually is the tilt in the Earth's axis of rotation. And this tilt stays constant regardless of where the Earth is in its orbit around the Sun. This causes either the northern hemisphere or souther hemisphere to be closer to the Sun at different times of the year. The hemisphere that is closer to the sun is warmer than the other hemisphere which would be cooler. The attached image from https://www.e-education.psu.edu/earth103/node/1004 explains my answer well.

The distance of the Earth from the Sun continuously changes during its rotation around Sun this is the reason why seasons change

Why then are the seasons the opposite by hemisphere? The northern hemisphere experiences summer when the souther hemisphere experiences winter.
