A solution is what satisfies the given linear equation or an given linear inequality. A solution is what balances the left side of the inequality with the right side of the inequality.A solution is a value or a set of values that solves the given linear equation or linear inequality

Step 2: Recall what an inequality is

We have two variables in the inequality x + y \geq 10

The values x = 5 and y = 5 solve this inequality because 5 + 5 = 10

The values x = 6 and y = 5 also solve this inequality because 6 + 5 = 11 > 10.

So (5,5), (6,5) are solutions to this inequality.

Some other solutions are  (6,6), (6,7). In fact any value of x \geq5 and any value of y\geq 5 are solutions to this inequality.
