Given that

Sun's mass density \rho = ?

mass of the Sun m = 2.0 * 10^{30} kg

Radius of the Sun r = 7.0* 10^{8} m

Step 1:  Determine the volume of the sun

Volume of the Sun(sphere) = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

= \frac{4}{3} * 3.14 *(7.0* 10^{8})^3

= 1.436* 10^{27} m^3

Step 2: Calculating the mass density of sun

Sun's mass density \rho = \frac{\text{ mass }}{\text{ volume}}

= \frac{ 2.0 * 10^{30}}{1.436* 10^{27}}     

= 1.4 * 10^{4} kg m^{-3}   

Hence, Density of the sun \rho=1.4*10^4kgm^{-3}  

This is the order of the solid and liquid densities rather than the gases.
