The total number of people who play a sport are 13.

The total number of people who do not play an instrument are 14.

Now we fill up this two-way table

STEP 1  The total number of people who do not play sport are 12 + 12 = 24.

STEP 2 ; The total number of people who took part in this were 24 + 13 = 37.

STEP 3: The number of people who play an instrument are 37 - 14 = 23

STEP 4 : The number of people who play a sport and play an instrument are 23 - 12 = 11.

STEP 5: The number of people who play a sport and do not play an instrument are 14 - 12 = 2.
