biology - What advantage over an aquatic organism does a terrestrial organism have with regard to obtaining oxygen for respiration?

In water the oxygen content is less than in the air. In the water oxygen is present in the dissolved form of H2O. In the air however it is present as a free molecule O2.

Therfore the oxygen present in the air is easy for the terrestrial organisms to breathe while animals presents in the water have to separate hydrogen from oxygen to breathe.
