Step 1: Remember the ASA congruent theorem

DEFINITION: The Angle Side Angle Postulate (ASA) says triangles are congruent if any two angles and their included

side are equal in the triangles. An included side is the side between two angles.

Step 2: Find the two triangles with two pairs of congruent angles and congruent included sides.

            EXAMPLE: Angle ∠Q ≅ ∠D

                              Side QS ≅ CD

                              Angle ∠S ≅ ∠C

Step 3: Conclude that the given triangles are congruent if the two triangles with two pairs of congruent angles and congruent included sides.

EXAMPLE:  Two angles and the included side of △QRS are congruent to two angles and the included side of △CDE,

so these triangles are congruent by the ASA Theorem.
