Step 1: Remember the SAS congruent theorem

            DEFINITION: If one angle of a triangle is equal to one angle of the other

            triangle and the sides including these angles are proportional, then the two

            triangles are similar. 


Step 2: Find the two triangles with two pairs of congruent sides and  

            congruent included angles.

               EXAMPLE: Side UW ≅ BC

                                    Angle ∠ U ≅ ∠ B

                                    Side  UV ≅ BD


Step 3: Conclude that the given triangles are congruent if two triangles with two pairs of congruent

            sides and congruent included angles.

            EXAMPLE: Two sides and the included angle of △UVW are congruent to

                                two sides and the included angle of △BCD, so these triangles

                                are congruent by the SAS Theorem.
