I have noticed this phenomenon in my society and it is very common.

This is due to leakage in the inner side of the wall. This is not uncommon and it occurs in many places.

The leakage in the wall makes the wall damp or moist and cracks appear on the outside.

When water is absorbed into the wall, it dissolves minerals present in the concrete. This results in the leaching of the minerals out of the concrete.

The forcing out of minerals and crystallization of the minerals pushes the paint from the surface of the wall. The paint therefore peels off the walls.
