Why do we dwell in the world of fantasy?

We dwell in a world of fantasy because sometimes the real world is boring. Instead of reading the news, you could jump into a world with people who can ride dragons or breathe in water. You also might just want to imagine what it's like to be in this imaginary world you are reading about. Then again, that's my opinion.
